Hi, I’m Summer! I am an award-winning makeup artist and am also 5-star rated on Wedding Wire. I’ve been in the makeup biz for quite a while now. I got my start by assisting a very well-known and reputable makeup artist, Danelle French, for over a year. I also gained a lot of product knowledge from working at Sephora. After having my fair share of skin issues, I was inspired to attend Aveda Fredric’s Institute to earn my esthetician license. I am a firm believer that to feel comfortable wearing makeup, you need to feel confident in your skin! Not only do I enjoy doing makeup on all of my beautiful brides and clients, but I also love to educate them on products and skincare! I’m always open to questions and ideas throughout your service.

My main focus is my bridal business but I also have years of experience in the editorial and production world! Some of my clients have included: The Sean Hannity Show for Fox News, MoneyLion, FinishLine, Mandolin, and many more. Additionally, I volunteered my makeup services for Indiana Fashion Week in 2019 and 2021. I also humbly pride myself on having my editorial work featured twice in Vogue Italia online.

For my brides, I want to make every one of their bridal makeup experiences custom to who they are. But most importantly, my passion for this industry comes from getting to know each and every one of my clients and making them feel beautiful! I love to laugh and chat with my clients, especially my brides to make them feel more relaxed on their big day. My clients often describe me as sweet, compassionate, thoughtful, intuitive, organized, and prompt.

Some of my favorite things (besides playing in makeup all day) include: Spending time with my husband and son, hanging out with friends and family, playing with my dogs, playing Euchre (I became obsessed during the beginning of COVID days), binge-watching, Starbucks, and laughing!
